The much anticipated release of Karl Marlantes' novel "Matterhorn" is Tuesday March 23rd. This new voice in American literature worked for over 30 years to bring his novel set in Vietnam during the war to readers. Karl Marlantes will visit Chaucer's on April 14th at 7pm. Everybody is strongly encouraged to attend, meet Mr. Marlantes, and pick up a signed copy of one of the most important books of the year. Shelf Awareness conducted an interesting interview with the author. "Matterhorn" is so much more than a "novel of the Vietnam war".It is a reading experience that you will not soon forget.
