The National Book Awards were announced on November 18th. Gore Vidal and Dave Eggers received special recognition and Flannery O' Connor's "Complete Stories" was announced as the winner of the poll for "The Best of the National Book Awards" - celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Awards.
For those that love good writing - consider reading one of the "5 under 35" -
"All the Living" by C.E. Morgan - a favorite of 2009. It is an exquisite read.
